falling

from that high up window i am sitting on the ledge chipping paint scraping the backs of my thighs as i sip a can of diet cherry coke... the warm summer breeze blows wisps of hair across my cheek i brush them back and take another sip and lick my lips savoring the sickly sweet aspartame left on them...
